I am still going

So just to clarify, I am still biking. I am in Lima now, and will take off to Cusco on Monday. I do not have a plane ticket to the States, but have 7,000 km to Buenos Aires. It is by the Lord's strength, but I am still going. In the desert places we learn to listen, in the deserted places we learn to trust and though it all we learn to love. It is not for us to decide but the journey decides for us. In the morning hour a small breeze blows from behind and the road is easier just to know that I am not alone.

Here's a song I like to sing when I'm feeling down.I heard for the first time in the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou."

Keep On The Sunny Side

There's a dark and a troubled side of life
There's a bright and a sunny side too
Though we meet with the darkness and strife
The sunny side we also may view

Keep on the sunny side always on the sunny side
Keep on the sunny side of life
It will help us every day it will brighten all our way
If we keep on the sunny side of life

Oh the storm and its fury broke today
Crushing hopes that we cherish so dear
The clouds and storm will in time pass away
The sun again will shine bright and clear

Let us greet with a song of hope each day
Though the moment be cloudy or fair
Let us trust in our Savior always
To keep us every one in His care
