1000 stitches-

So another thing about living on the farm is accidents,
it truth we make a lot of visits to the emergency room.
My father goes at least a couple times a year.
It is typically my mother that is taking my father to the hospital,
either with heat stroke, almost cutting off his finger and
then there was the time that he fell off the ladder and broke his sternum.
This week my father had a trip to the emergency room after a cow kicked him,
The cow had an infected hoof and we were trying to treat it and she smashed his fingers.
But the x-ray come back that his fingers were not broken.
Last nights trip to the emergency room is one of the scariest that we have had in a long time.
My Dad, Mom and 2 year old cousin were riding the 4wheeler together when they hit a wire about head level.
My father was in the front and scraped his face and ear up pretty bad,
but my mom hit the wire with the full impact on her face just above her lip
and tore a hole about the size of a quarter.
It took a plastic surgeon close to three hours and over a thousand stitches to stitch her back up.
He had to stitch inside her nose, mouth and her lip.
The left the house to go to the emergency room at 8 pm and did not return until after 4 am,
so it was a very long night.
So please be praying for my mom and a speedy recovery.
