We finally arrived-
So after a great few weeks with family at Christmas time we finally made it overseas. We did not know if we were going to make it. We had three cancelled flights coming and our bags arrived three days late, the joys of flying in the winter. It was wonderful to finally arrive and get settled in. We have already begun language classes and are living in the old Medina with a local family, other then one of there sons, they only speak Arabic. So it will be a quick crash course in language.

You couldn't have had an easy arrival--what would you have to write about?? :) I"m glad you made it. Living with a local family has its ups and (lots of!) downs, but it's priceless in terms of language learning. Stick it out and you'll be glad you did. We're thinking about you during this time! Keep us updated (and don't forget to tell us some funny language stories along the way!).
